Three Dresses...

We return with more pics.... btw we posted three times on Monday, so be sure to check all of those things out. We were overly productive on the last day of February. ;-)

Today we have three dresses for you-- the Melody Valerie Let's Take the Train! dress, the Liberty Jane Faraway Downs dress, and the Melody Valerie Across the Sea dress, which includes the special freshwater pearl necklace. These dresses are being modeled by Karen, Noelle, and Zoe, respectively-- from left to right. And again, you can tell we took these photos in December by the decor of peppermint candles! :-D

Last of the New Kanani Items!

Yep, after a week of sleeping on the job-- we finally get back to showing you some more of the Kanani items. Sorry we have been MIA-- it's almost mid-terms at school and the teachers like to give a lot of homework so we do well on the tests. Blech.

So it is about time to finish up the new January AG stuff here at The Doll Wardrobe because we got a lot of new AG stuff this month. Haha. That's right-- we put in a big order on the day the new MyAG stuff was released. So look forward to those posts!

Today we have Kanani's Aloha Outfit, her swimsuit with the life vest, her towel set, and her seal to show you. Zoe Twiggs is modeling the Aloha Outfit for us. We think she makes a pretty good stand-in for Kanani's cousin. Lots and lots of pictures ahead, so we hope you guys don't get tired of scrolling. ;-)

As we have said before, we really like the Kanani collection and we appreciate how well things coordinate with each other. Yes, it is very "Barbie-esque" in design and color scheme -- but we don't really have any problems with Barbie stuff. We do think Mattel should create a thicker division between the styles of the two lines, but eh, what sells is what sells. And that is what they will keep creating.

Additional New Stuff... :-)

Hello again friends! Today we have Kanani in her jammies and Zoe in the Honey PJs, as well as Kanani's accessories. In addition we have some pics of Kanani in her paddle boarding outfit with her surfboard and paddle.

We really like Kanani's jammies-- as you know, blue is our favorite color--- but also because they look really good on her. We tried the Honey PJs on her and they didn't look nearly as good as her own. The Honey PJs are also pretty cute-- and they suit Zoe's coloring. Each outfit comes with cropped leggings, a long shirt and slippers. Kanani's accessories include the doggie, the baggie, the camera, and the various paper items you see in the pics below.

And next is the paddle boarding outfit from various angles... we will also show you the life-jacket over the swimsuit in a later post (with the monk seal, ooooo). This is a great set-- yes, there is a lot of pink going on... but there are aspects we like: 1) how it looks on Kanani, 2) the one-piece quality of the swimsuit, and 3) the chic hairband/bow thingy. Maybe we aren't that difficult to please, but it is a really flattering swimsuit-shorts combo.

Sew Fun Doll Clothes Jan/Feb Giveaway! Enter Here!

Thus begins our American Girl's 25th Anniversary/Birthday Monthly Giveaways! Huzzah! Since we are starting this one on January 15th-ish --- we will run it until February 16th. And we will announce the winner on February 17th.

L'Atelier de Sitara Party: Part Three

The story of the back-to-school party continues and more guests have arrived!

While Karen and Lira make more snacks in the kitchen, Elinor Dashwood and Felicity Merriman join the festivities. Elinor is time-traveling as a modern girl today. Her L'Atelier de Sitara duds are the green cropped jacket and the dark blue jeans with crystal accents near the pockets. Felicity (soon to be renamed) has accompanied Elinor to the party and her outfit is almost completely by Sitara. Her embellished tank top and pleated green silky skirt are both from the Fall 2010 line.

Elinor's look is completed by a red tank top and silver flats from the Liberty Jane Spring/Summer 2010 Line. We really love the look of the green, red, and blue together in this outfit combined with the soft touches from the pearls and crystals. Awesome! To complement the black beads on Felicity's tank top we added on a pair of Josefina's black flats and a black beaded necklace from Liberty Jane.

L'Atelier de Sitara Party: Part Two

Hola! Welcome to part two of Karen and Zoe's party.... guests begin arriving!

Who has joined us? Lira Sartorius and Emily Bennett are here with a travel-size Scrabble game. What are their L'Atelier de Sitara duds? Lira is wearing the Beachcomber tunic tank top and Emily is wearing a special pair of light-wash skinny jeans. We love the embellishment on the tunic and the nubby texture of the jean fabric!

To complete her look, Lira added on the blue leggings from the AG Lanie Outdoor Outfit (the one with the yellow owl shirt), and a pair of white sandals from Liberty Jane. Emily is wearing a custom-made tee shirt from Penny's Mum, and black and white Converse sneaks from Liberty Jane.

Also, in case you were wondering- FYI- the custom tees are designed from the free tee shirt pattern available from Liberty Jane patterns and made from deconstructed human tee shirts. That has been our favorite way to get awesome graphic tees. :)

L'Atelier de Sitara Party: Part One

Karen and Zoe decided to have a back-to-school party. So they invited everyone to come in their L'Atelier de Sitara duds and join the festivities.

Step One: Get some snacks and games. Karen and Zoe picked up the Fall Treats Set from AG for their party and a travel-sized Battleship game. The ice cream cone is an eraser we found in a museum gift shop down in Dallas in the spring. :)

Step Two: Pick out some L'Atelier de Sitara clothing to wear to the party. Karen chose the grey pleated skirt and Zoe picked the teal wrap-around top you see below. Karen's tee shirt is a one-of-a-kind creation from Penny's Mum, and her green necklace and boots are from Liberty Jane Clothing. Zoe's black tank top is from Liberty Jane, and her cropped pants and flats are from her MyAG Meet Outfit.
