One more week until we can order Lanie..... here is a picture of the doll courtesy of the interwebs. Classic face mold. Looks like hazel eyes. So what do you guys think? Interested in Lanie???
She's cute enough, though I wish she had the new green eyes and freckles, and her hair was a smidge longer, and she didn't have those bangs. "And, and, and..." LOL! :P But now I'm just imagining my dream custom doll! I think she looks very cute! I have to agree with Jules though, the book cover side bangs look nice, on the doll not so much. At first glance I thought they looked kind of funky, but they are starting to grow on me. But I'm sure that style is hard to replicate on a wig. I think once we see real-life pictures of Lanie, our opinions will change, though I'm not sure if for the better or the worse (I'm hoping the better, as I think side bangs are a nice idea and lots of girls have them nowadays) Anyways, I really like her, though I'm still undecided if I'll be getting her. Her outfit and accessories are very cute, though, and I like her environmental/outdoor story.
I think she's really pretty and I also love her outfit!!! Her bangs would look better if they were a tad bit longer!!! I hope I'll be seeing Lanie at Pacific Valley soon!!!! :) Lola Bean :)
