Wulang55 Zoo Animal PJs

Last but not least for today- zoo animal PJs from Ebay seller wulang55 being modeled by my little sister Maggie.

Here you see zebras, elephants and pink giraffes frolicking across a field of soft yellow flannel. The perfect accents are the bear-shaped buttons down the front of the shirt. In addition, on Maggie's feetsies you will see tiger slippers purchased from Ebay seller releaserain. I thought they matched well with the zoo animal PJs!

Those of you who know Penny will be surprised to see a bit of pink in this outfit. Penny does not typically buy pink doll clothing- as she recently admitted to Terri of Etsy's terristouch. The one purchased item that stands out in my mind is the pink Addy dress from The Dollies' Dressmaker. But it was in the style of Addy's Kite-Flying Dress- so now we know why she bought it!

In regards to these PJs Penny said that the pink giraffes were subtle enough for her taste. Plus, now Maggie has some awesome PJs to wear to sleepovers! Who is ready for a pillow-fight?

Keepers Overalls and Shirt

Ok, so Penny tried to break her addiction to Keepers Dolly Duds on ebay. It did not work. She says she has not been buying as many outfits as before (ie December) but I'm not sure how accurate this information is...should we trust her?

Evidence against Penny's statements include these fantastic overalls and plaid shirt from Keepers designed for Molly and/or Emily and being modeled by my younger sister Maggie.

We have Molly's after-school outfit of blue cords and a plaid shirt, so we figured if we ever get Emily she should have an after-school outfit as well. The nifty beret comes from the American Girl "Scarlet and Snow" outfit (and hence was made in China, not the US of A.) Despite being born overseas, the beret looks very neat with this outfit. Seeing that Molly's meet outfit comes with a beret, I didn't think it was out-of-line for 1940s fashion.

Muxoriginals White Fairy Costume

What other fun things to we have to show you before January 2009 slips away from the us? Well, we did manage to get another fairy costume from Etsy seller muxoriginals during her half-off sale after the holidays! Now we have two fairy costumes! Yippee!

I had imagined modeling this costume with our furry white hat and some ice skates- but we had already used them below with the cherry hoodie on my stepsister Stella and I didn't want to repeat myself.

Maggie said that she wanted to model the new fairy costume, and she came up with the idea to put her hair in pigtails and wear a pair of fancy cream shoes. She looks like she is ready for a costume ball. But we aren't normally invited to costume balls. So Maggie will have to be satisfied by dancing around the house to "It's A Marshmallow World."

Muxoriginals created this costume just for us and even asked which type of decoration we wanted on the front of the bodice. Great service! And as a warning to those shoppers out in the world of the internet- she is planning on having a Valentine's sale soon and has a lot of Valentine's-related doll clothes on Etsy right now. So if you are looking for hearts- find muxoriginals on Etsy!

Maggie Returns!

Just in time for the holidays, Maggie returns from the Music Conservatory!!!! Her semester of clarinet lessons and music classes are over and she gets to go back to her normal life. Even if she doesn't want to, haha.

Here she models a green jumper and white turtleneck from Etsy seller Terristouch. She especially likes it because the green color matches her eyes. The style is supposed to be '70s-era for AG doll Julie Albright. It is a really cute outfit.

She is also modeling a crochet hat from Etsy seller Always2CraftyLinda. Linda even included a free crocheted hat and shoes with our order! She makes these '70s style hats in a variety of neat colors.

In addition, I'd like to show you a lavender fleece jacket from Etsy seller Terristouch that looks just lovely with the green jumper. I really like how Maggie looks when the hood is up. She is adorable! You can custom-order this fleece in a bunch of different colors from Terri.
