More Greetings from Natalie!

Whassup peoples!

Here is another update from Natalie, the MyAG #55 Priscilla won in our 2011 Fall/Winter Doll Giveaway. She's standing on her front lawn with her pet schnauzer named Peg, looking very cute in pigtails. :-)

We think we know where she got her shirt from.... Royal Doll Boutique... maybe?

Now Maple is jealous because a different MyAG #55 is being featured on the blog other than her. Sigh. She is such an egomaniac. ;-)

Natalie Says Hi!

During the last doll giveaway we sent off a #55 to a new home. Her name is Natalie and she wanted to say "hi" today to y'alls and show off her new dress - a 1970s Floral Gunne Sax dress.

Two of Our Past Giveaway Dolls in Their New Homes!

Winners occasionally send us pics of the dolls we have sent them as prizes - which we heartily welcome - we love seeing the dolls in their new homes!

And sometimes, we actually remember to post them for y'alls to see!

First, here is Kanani (who was the 2011 Summer Photo Contest prize), posing with Jess - the star doll who "won" the contest. :-)

2011 Fall/Winter Doll Giveaway Starts Today! Enter Here!

There should be a subtitle to this post: "Maple Shows Off Her New Outfit." 

Maple insisted she should be included with the pictures of Lanie and her MyAG #55 clone for this post so that people could see what MyAG #55 looks like out of the box and in a different outfit. Logical, right? Well then she put on a special new outfit - once again arguing that people should know how fantastic she can look. And then she stood front and center in the photos, also arguing that people should know how photogenic she is. Needless to say, boxed Lanie and boxed MyAG #55 were a little peeved that she was stealing the limelight since the post is really more about them....

Okay, so what you really want to hear about is the doll giveaway.

First of all, if we get 375 blog followers or 275 Facebook followers by the end of the contest we will giveaway 
two dolls instead of just one.

So now here are the important details: You must be 18 years old or older to enter this giveaway. If you are younger than that please have someone 18 years old or older, like a parent or guardian, enter herself/himself. One entry per person please, but you can have other family members enter as well.

To enter, please write your full name and your email address as a comment to this post. It will not be published and only Penny will be able to see it. A winner will be drawn out of a hat, i.e. randomly picked. Only entries with a full name and an email address will be put into the hat. If you win, Penny will email that address to notify you and ask for your doll choice, and your shipping address.

We will ship to other countries (including the USA, of course). So if you live in Australia, England, Canada, and so on--- and you win--- we will ship the doll to you for free. No cost to you.

Special Announcement about Upcoming Doll Giveaway

Hola! We have several posts in the works, but first we wanted to tell you about our plans for the upcoming doll giveaway.

Maple insisted she would win our poll, and apparently she has -- To use a pirating metaphor, she has blown everyone else out of the water with 54% of the votes! Whoa! That MyAG #55 is popular!

So we'll be including a MyAG #55 in the upcoming giveaway, which will begin once she arrives from the Fed Ex person. :-)

Our Special Special Announcement about the upcoming giveaway -- as if telling you that Maple's clone will be included in it isn't special enough -- this time we are trying out what most other people do for these types of things.

We started this blog in order to "get the word out" about high-quality handmade clothing for AG. Everyday we hope that someone out there finds our blog and realizes the treasures that can be found on Etsy, Ebay, and from a variety of individual websites. There are awesome seamstresses out there peoples! Our unsaid mantra around here is: If AG didn't make it, but you still want it -- it can be made -- Just ask!

In the interest of promoting our blog, and hence the world of handmade AG-sized clothing, we are announcing: If we get 375 blog followers or 275 Facebook followers by the end of the contest (sometime in December) we will give away two dolls this time instead of just one.

Updates, Requests, Polls, Questions

Haha. Do you like my title? So we have a lot of housekeeping to do today. No fun doll pictures. But lots of info for everyone. :-)

1) We added new tabs to the top of the blog under the header to help you find our Youtube Channel, our Facebook Page, our current photo contest info, and Maple's Story Blog. Hopefully those are helpful.

2) If you haven't subscribed to our Facebook page or our Youtube Channel yet, please do! Also, if you have a Youtube or Facebook page you'd like to tell us about, please comment below so others can know about it too. :-)

3) Pippaloo's and All Dolled Up's Facebook pages are seeking more "Likes" -- so please check those pages out and "Like" them. We think its a great idea to have a Facebook page if you have your own doll clothing or accessory shop -- maybe you should think of starting one if you are a shopkeeper. :-)

4) On our Facebook page we do a lot of "shout-outs" to items being sold on Etsy and Ebay. If you are a shopkeeper and want us to do "shout-outs" for your products please let us know. You can comment below or email us at nora.demington@gmail.com. We do it for free, just to advertise things we like.

5) Our two recent polls have ended and we took them off the blog today. Here are the results....

Kanani still has a bit of an edge over Marie-Grace and Cecile in popularity.... but obviously a lot of people are interested in other dolls than those three! Perhaps the MyAG #55 that everyone likes or one of the other new MyAG's? Hmmmm......

We thought these polls would give us an idea of which doll to include in the next giveaway... but it is still a mystery since the three main girls basically tied in popularity... which leads to....

6) Our Photo Contest winner choose Kanani and she is currently being packaged up to be sent off to her new owner. :-)  So now we have MyAG #26 and Ivy left with us for the next giveaway. We have started a new poll to determine who will be the third doll... it lists Kanani, Cecile, Marie-Grace and MyAG #55 as the possibilities. So if you'd like to see one of those dolls included in the Fall/Winter 2011 Doll Giveaway -- please vote today!
