The fit is precise and designed for these slimmer dolls.

Saige's Sweater Outfit

Alrighty then, we finally get around to this post.

Today we have Periwinkle, our #56, wearing Saige's Sweater Outfit in two ways.

In the next "Saige" post we'll have the Sweater Outfit with Saige's three pairs of boots for comparison porpoises. And also some shots of it with the riding helmet.

First we styled the outfit in the traditional American Girl fashion.

But we couldn't get the sweater to lay in the same way that they can in their pictures.

Our sweater just hung there and didn't look good to us.

We tried to fold the drapey bits inward, but it just never worked.

It fell back to where it wanted to hang.

Plus the tank top is kinda see-through.

So we styled it with the belt from the Saige Parade Outfit which we think it 
looks a lot better.

We added a hair clip to the end of the belt to keep it in place.

The outfit comes with the "Southwestern" pattern drapey sweater, the (see-through) white tunic tank top with a grey lace pattern on it, the black jeggings, and the brown strappy sandals.

As we've said before -- this is a popular PacSun look.

And we love it.

In our poll it came second in popularity, first being the Saige doll herself.

And hopefully it isn't difficult to see why.

It is bold, bright and flashy.

But this is modern fashion at it's best.

Done by American Girl.

Which is a shocking and amazing thing.

In our opinion, not one other piece of Saige clothing comes close to the awesomeness
and realism of this outfit.

And we should tell AG this with our wallets.

So our OVERALL thoughts:

We highly recommend this outfit.

If you are only going to buy one thing from the GOTY 2013 collection --
make sure it is this outfit.

We have yet to try mixing and matching with this outfit and other things, but we like it so much as it is -- we haven't been inspired to do that yet. :-)
