Ahoy! 'Tis a wonderful tide t' be a swashbuckler!
Yes, International Talk Like A Pirate Day 2010 is still over 80 days away...but it's fun to use pirate lingo and dress like a pirate at anytime of the year. ;)
However, when it comes to pirate costumes for the 18" crowd, there are not a lot of options. Luckily for us, Mux Originals released a pirate costume in the new Summer Line. Woot!
In this set you get the brown cropped pants; fancy red, black and white shirt; and black headscarf. We added in Felicity's meet shoes and a sword made from aluminum foil to complete the swashbuckling look. Now all we need is a pirate ship.... we have a Lego one around here somewhere... but none that are AG-sized.
Imagine if AG released a Pirate Ship Tree house for AGs? That would be awesome..... here is what I am thinking of..... only AG-sized....
Pictures are from Daniels Wood Land-- If you want something incredibly awesome built in your backyard, these are the people who can do the job. :)
Of course if AG doesn't want to do a Pirate Ship Tree House... they can do a Pirate Ship bed like at Trinidad South in the Caribbean Resort at Walt Disney World.....
An AG-sized version of that would be awesome!!!
I'm thinking they could do an AG Girl of the Year that is really into pirates-- maybe lives down in Florida in the Keys or maybe the U.S. Virgin Islands--- and she could have a whole bunch of piratey stuff! Pirate ship bed. Treasure chest. Eye patch. Little pieces of eight. Parrot for her shoulder. Tri-corner hat with a skull and crossbones on it.... probably too much to wish for though.
As you can probably tell, I am easily distracted by pirate stuff... but I did remember to add in the doll pictures. Please enjoy our photos of Ziva dressed as a pirate, courtesy of Mux Originals! Arrggh!
