Holiday Dailies: Trends to Sew 6

It's beginning to look a lot like shopping season.

Yep, it is here.

Keep your stores stocked and ready for action!

Today's Trends to Sew, ripped from Seventeen magazine...

_____ Jean jackets are in as well as chambray dress shirts

____ Try jackets with fur accents -- faux fur only people. Animal cruelty is of course one concern, but also people with allergies don't want real fur on their doll clothing.

____ Light peach is an "In" Color -- try it for tops, skirts and even jeans/pants!

___ Striped sweaters are also very "In" -- try layering them over dress shirts or jersey tunics

___ Red boots. You can never fail with red boots.

Stay tuned for more Holiday Dailies!!!

Tiny tip for you, and I wouldn't even think of it but I'm a design student working on my own magazine for a class project right now. When you are scanning magazine pages put a black piece of paper (or even a printed sheet with an all black background) behind your page and then you won't see the back of the page bleed through as much. We had to scan in our ads from a magazine to put into our magazine and this REALLY helped. :) I love your trends to sew posts! They really help me with ideas for doll clothes.

Thanks for the suggestion! Yes, we usually do that, but due to our senility we forgot this time. When we scan again, we'll do it.

Unfortunately we already scanned in all the Seventeen ones and can't do them again because they are at a different house!

Thanks again -- We knew something didn't look quite right.

Also, thanks for letting us know these are useful. Sometimes we wonder if we are helping or just boring people!

I love Trends to Sew--- I've used ideas from them for a good handful of items in my Etsy shop, and have a running list of ones I plan to try.
