Maiden Flight Karito Kids Outfit

Hola! Been an interesting day. Worked on packaging up the prize, but missed the boat to UPS for today. Mark it down on the to-do list for Monday. Sigh. But at least we have some fun stuff to show you despite us being slow with our chores. ;-)

If you didn't already know, Liberty Jane and Maiden Flight have teamed up to create and market patterns for Karito Kids. Which you can view and purchase by going here: http://www.libertyjanepatterns.com/. The KK trendy tee pattern is free if you sign up for the Maiden Flight newsletter. Here are the cover-art pics of three of the currently available patterns.

So lucky for us Maiden Flight decided to sell some of the clothing you see on the covers: the long-sleeve plaid shirt, black tank top, and slim-fit jeans. They showed up in their Etsy shop BrambleberryCottage. And we snatched them right up since we wanted to start showing you Karito Kids here. :-)

Here is Gia in her complete Maiden Flight outfit posing with our holiday polar bear, Mr. Snuggles, from Target. He is helping us make our posts a little festive. Haha.

And then we have a slideshow of Gia showing off different aspects of the outfit. We also received a cool peace sign necklace with the duds, as you can see...

It was nice to get Gia this holiday season as a "little" gift to ourselves. A happy end to the year. Especially since Decembers are usually just spent wondering what the Girl of the Year will look like come January. What types of gifts are you excited to get or have already gotten this holiday season???

p.s. Look forward to Gia in more posts right around the corner, including our experiments in seeing what she looks like in AG-sized clothing! ;-)

Oh and p.p.s. It seems that Karito Kids World Collection 1.0 dolls might be easier to get out of their packages than World Collection 2.0 dolls, FYI.

We're bad, but we're hoping to get lots of retired A.G. products that Rachel Noel has wanted forever & a day! Rachel Noel's mom purchased some of the things off Ebay, but of course, we will not be getting those until the holidays! For example, she ordered a lot of retired Felicity items! ANYWAY, love the outfit on Gia! Maiden In Flight has some adorable "duds" for dolls! haha, needless to say, but Rachel Noel has said she hopes to order one of their signature hobo bags for us soon! Yay!
Sincerely,
Emmie Jo, Emmie's Edition
P.S. Rachel Noel has an brand-new "Noble Heart Horse" Care Bear that's apparently worth major bucks! She's planning to sell him in order to get either the "Crème de la Crème" Dress or the "The Hostess" dress from Melody Valerie's new line! Which do you guys like more?

We love those Maiden Flight white hobo bags! We keep thinking about getting one as well.

Hmmm.... both MVC dresses are very pretty! We love the fabric of "The Hostess" but the cut of "Crème de la Crème" is also pretty fantastic. I don't think we'd be able to choose which one we like more!

Awesome! haha, funny you guys are thinking the same as us! Man, well you guys defiantly helped a bit! Maybe Noble Heart well be worth enough to get both! Hopefully!
Sincerely,
The Girlies At Emmie's Edition

Maybe it will be enough to get both, they are sold for more than $200 sometimes those types of Care Bear thingys. (We don't really know much about Care Bears though...)

To us Creme is a fancy dress for an evening gala, while Hostess could be a be more for a really nice at-home party..... though that probably doesn't help you choose either....

Yes! We hope really hoping he will sell for that much! He's very limited.(So we've heard) Oh, you're definitely helping a lot! If we were to only choose one, hopefully it won't come to this, but we'd choose...... wow, we can't! haha!
Sincerely,
The Girlies at Emmie's Edition
P.S. We just Ebay searched Noble Heart up on Ebay & the one we have is currently going for $125 bid, $180 BIN. We're thinking of placing him at $120 bid, $160 BIN. Plus, if that's enough, we have some extra cash laying around;)

Hi, just stopped in to see you after reading your feedback at my shop. Thanks so much for your comments. You've have a great blog. . . I love it! Can't wait to get a chance to explore it all.

When I was trying to decide which of the KKs I wanted to get, I was really having a difficult choice between Pita and Gia.

So glad you're enjoying the outfit. Gia wears it well! Thanks for spreading the word about Maiden Flight Clothing; I really appreciate it.

See ya next flight. . .

Gia is so pretty! I love her new outfit, too. :) Can't wait to see more posts with her.

Besides being excited about #41 (yay!), I'm actually really looking forward to giving my daughters their presents. My 2 oldest girls are getting their first American Girl dolls, and I can't wait to see their faces when they open them on Christmas morning! :) My oldest is getting a Josefina doll, and my middle daughter is getting a Felicity...I was able to find both secondhand on Craigslist for amazing prices. :D

Hi, I have a friend that is actually looking for that bear with the doll. Can you give me any information on it. What its from, if it has a name, where one could obtain it? Thanks. This might be weird, and I know this post is a bit old, but he is really interested in tracking down that bear.

Haha, not weird at all. I will email him this as well as since he left his email address. But we are afraid that we clipped the tags off because they were the size of ones you get on pillows. Huge.

We are pretty sure they said "Target" on them, not sure about the other details. We also have the matching blanket that has ice-skating polar bears on it and that tag just says "Target."

Sorry we couldn't be more helpful! But it is just the regular Target holiday stuff that they have made for the store - blankets, stuffed toys, cookie jars, door mats - their own brand I guess.
