Maple insisted that she get a "photo-story thingy." And for some reason Penny said "Okay." Why??? Who knows.... but anyways I had to put up with it. We went on that trip last week and Maple came along. During the plane ride she formulated her photo-story as a pirate treasure hunt, so that is what is going on here.
There will be many parts to this adventure as time goes on, but we thought we'd make a piratey-background for the blog and a button in the sidebar for the Treasure Hunt posts so you can find them easily. We will have other kinds of posts interspersed with the Treasure Hunt ones, just FYI.
Here we go..... Maple's photo-story....
One evening Maple was sitting in the living room with Mr. Weethers... yeah, that's better...
Maple was lounging around wearing her awesome custom "Alien ♥s Cow" embroidered tee shirt and grey "chill pants" from All Dolled Up Doll Clothes (as you can see in the pics below).
"Let's read a book together!" Maple said. She opened up her old copy of Treasure Island and started to read it aloud to her bunny friend.
"We have to find this treasure Mr. Weethers!," Maple shouted, even though he was inches away from her. They studied the map. Blackbeard's Wood, The Spanish Tower, Deadman's Grotto, Smuggler's Cove, Seawall Ruins, Fort Black, Silver Pointe, and Echo Island were written on it. The X to mark the treasure location was on Echo Island.
"There must be something in this dark closet..."
"I think I see something moving in there..."
"Or maybe under this couch..."
"Just a little farther under... there has to be treasure here..."
"I think I might be stuck..."
Maple didn't have any luck finding treasure in the house. She sat back down next to Mr. Weethers to study the map more. "You have to go outside Maple. All of those places are outside, not inside the house," he said. He might have been rolling his eyes, if he had eyes...
"Oh, but where? I have never heard of those places...," she replied.
"Well, I know where the entrance to Blackbeard's Wood is... it is over the Craggy Hill about a mile heading East...," he answered.
"Well I guess that is where I should start then!"
Stay tuned for Part Two in the near future.... "The Entrance to Blackbeards' Wood".....
Oooo, exciting!
Oooo, exciting!
p.s. Mr. Weethers is from Yellow Horse Art Studio, an Etsy shop.

Too cute! The photos are hilarious ... poor girl looks like she's stuck under the couch!
Thanks so much! Glad you liked the pics!
So fun! We missed you and Nora!
I completely dig her shirt.
Thanks everyone!
P.s. Terrie can embroider anything smaller than 5 inches square on doll clothing for you.
We got the alien from Urban Threads - a site Dynamite Threads told us about -- http://www.urbanthreads.com/product_details?product_id=969&category_id=6
They have a ton of awesome embroidery designs -- and anything in PES format is compatible with Terrie's machine. :)
That is so totally awesome! I wish all your dolls would insist on doing photo stories! xD Her shirt is too cute, too. And I love Mr. Weethers sense of humor!
I seriously rofled when I read this "He might have been rolling his eyes, if he had eyes..." You dolls are too funny. Can't wait for part 2!
Love it - and your background. More please. :) :) :)
I loved this post and Maple's "digs"! Did you guys get any of Sitara's Fall Line today? :D
Glad everyone liked this post!
Yep, we got 3 out of the 4 Sitara outfits. Trying not to be too greedy while still being greedy, haha. Cafechic, Vennetia, and Academia were the ones we got. :)
Did anyone else get anything from her line?
