American Boy Dolls?

We recently placed an order for our second 'Doll Without Hair' -- if we like the way he looks upon arrival -- he will be our first American Boy Doll -- Archie.

We also ordered him 2 'Johnny' wigs from Monique. :-D

So this inspired us to make some new polls, which you can see on the right side menu.

sometime in the next 3 years or so I'm hoping to get a custom Percy Jackson doll, and of course his best friends Annabeth and Thalia. I think I might like to have more than one guy just so that he wouldn't be lonely... And so he wouldn't be the only one getting attacked by the ladies ;)

I've wanted a boy doll for a while, and I finally customized one last year using my Rebecca. I became so frustrated with her wig that it had to go! The brown wig came off, a short blonde wig was put on, and Rebecca became Liam! I couldn't be happier! Originally Liam was going to have a classic facemold, but I love how he looks with the Josefina facemold. Liam is best friends with my mini-me doll because, frankly, I've always seemed to get along with guys better than girls...

I'd love another boy doll someday, but there are other dolls I want more. Should I happen upon the right doll, I wouldn't hesitate to make one. I do have another wig handy, at any rate.

I have a boy; his name is Elijah. He's a customized Nellie. He's my favorite doll. I don't think I'll ever want more than one boy, though... having only one makes him more special, I think. As to clothing, Lij has a wardrobe of his own that was custom-made for him by Terrie at All Dolled Up. He's quite the fashionable fellow.

I'm looking forward to seeing Archie, if he sticks around! I hope he does!

I am wondering where you order a "doll without hair." Thank you.

We have a Sterling to go with my daughter's Kit. He isn't made from an AG doll--- we wanted the boy to have a different facemold than any of our girls, so we used a Heidi Ott Faithful Friends doll. The face seemed very compatible with the AGs. We put his head on an AG-type body, and we think he looks great. My daughter really finds that having an American Boy makes playing with her dolls a lot more fun.
