I was just wondering, what is your usual schedule for doing giveaways/contests? That sounds confusing, but how often do you have some sort of doll-away related thing and how do you choose whether it is a giveaway or contest? Also, what will you be doing this spring/summer?
We've been trying to work out a schedule for giveaways and contests for about the last four years, haha.
So it has changed quite a bit. Before we had contests, we just gave the dolls away -- which I suppose is easier, but perhaps not as challenging. ;-)
For 2013 this is our schedule -- First section of the year is the 2013 Grand Photo Contest, middle section of the year is the 2013 Fashion Design Challenge, and the last part of the year will be a straight-up doll giveaway.
So that means we'll give away a doll to the top winner in the photo contest, two to the top winners of the FDC, and one or two away to randomly selected winners around the end of the year holidays.
In the end, with small breaks in between these events sometimes -- we usually have something doll-giveaway related all year long.
We might have clothing and accessories giveaways in between all that from Etsy sellers or things we find in shoppes -- but those aren't really scheduled. We just do them as they pop up. :-)
Just wondering, did you get my pictures (paper dolls, sent from nsinger6)?
