The Skater Dress.
If you haven't heard of the skater dress/skirt trend, you are probably
living under a rock or something.
Most doll clothiers probably think of an actual ice skating dress and get images of GOTY Mia skating through their head, but that is not exactly what is going on right now.
The 80s/90s skater dress trend has resurfaced -- an all-figures flattering cut of dress that can be dressed up, down, and sideways for whatever style you want to rock.
The skirt of a skater dress is a full circle, great for twirling around in.
It flares out at the hipline and helps to define an AG's waistline.
We would design any AG skater dress with a hemline right above the knee.
No need to go short.
It can be worn as a tunic over leggings or skinny pants.
It can be accessorized with skinny belts, posh jewelry, cardis,
and looks great with slouchy booties.
