This is Julie wearing one of my favorite outfits! I made this plaid jumper and mock turtleneck for Julie because it reminds me of one of my own favorite outfits from the early 70's. The shoes remind me of a pair of Capezio's that I owned, and the butterfly necklace looks funky enough for the decade! I would love to find a pattern for a bell sleeved dress like this one for Julie! I had one back in the day, and the sleeves always made me feel like a princess when I wore the dress! The boots would be a nice addition, too. I would make the dress in a burgundy lace fabric and pair some tall black boots with it for a definite 70's look!
