Reader Submission #23
For Our Doll Giveaway Contest!!!

Hi there! My name is Pullip Rapunzel, and I am the favorite doll of Jen over at Dolls and Nachos (and considering how many dolls Jen has, this is quite an honor).

This is my very favorite dress. It came from the Disney Store, with another Rapunzel doll. (Jen's poor husband just sighed when she arrived - between Jen and her daughter, there is quite the army of Rapunzels in this house.)

(I was not joking when I said that.) It's not the most movie-accurate dress, but I love the long sheer sleeves and the circle skirt that doesn't shed glitter all over. Paired with a tulle petticoat and purple flats, it's very versatile - good to wear when painting...

or countless other pursuits. And it looks good with both of my hairstyles!

Jen and I love this dress so much, she is making a human-sized one for herself, to wear to something called a "convention." I am in charge of overseeing the project.

I like to think I'm doing a good job of motivating. As for a human dress for AG scale...well, I'm a one-dress kind of girl, and Jen has no fashion sense, so this is actually a toughie! So I went and consulted Robin, who is Jen's favorite American Girl, to see if she had anything in mind:

Despite an unfortunate habit of calling me "shortstuff", Robin was quite helpful! She loves these "conventions" and "cosplay" as much as Jen does, and wants this "Vanellope von Schweetz" outfit to wear:

Jen just went and hid under a pile of lilac brocade.
 Thanks for reading!

Jen's note: For the curious, Rapunzel is a customized Pullip Peter Pan.
You can find her, Robin, and the rest of the Dollcave's merry band over at Dolls and Nachos (dollsandnachos.blogspot.com), or doomandnachos over at Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/doomandnachos
