Okay, so this isn't a very exciting post, but we wanted to list the vote numbers so everyone would know our plans for any future Doll Giveaway. And we wanted to report on which time period our little Rebecca will be living in. :)

With the upcoming new JLY release on September 3rd, your "wants" may change for doll giveaways, but we'll stick to Rebecca as our next giveaway at some point. ;)
As far as our own Rebecca, 45 of you wanted her to live in the modern time period with me, Nora- so your wish is granted! She will now be Rebecca Isaacke- a school chum of us Demington sisters!
She has been renamed Rebecca Isaacke (instead of Rebecca Rubin) as a tribute to the first documented Jewish woman in the Virginia colony, and hence one of the first Jewish women to live in what would eventually be the United States of America.
In the future our Rebecca will be modeling some modern clothing here at The Doll Wardrobe- probably some nice Back-to-School autumn outfits - in recognition of her new identity. :)

Rebecca looks lovely in modern clothes, and her new name is great! I love how she's named after the 1st Jewish woman in the US.

Rebecca makes a great modern gal! :) Mine is a bit of a time-traveler, though, simply because I LOVE her in historical atire as well as modern.
