Honest Editorial No. 1: March 4th, 2015

She's a maniac! Maniac!!!

Last year was kind of a bust for us blog-wise.
We just didn't post as much as we wanted to.

Basically our life was total mania.
Total lack of focus and the ability to accomplish even the simplest tasks.

We know we are not alone with this kind of issue, haha.

But we didn't want you guys to think we were giving up on the dolls, or the blog, etc.

We had some major "real-life" projects underway.

But hopefully soon we can get back to this stuff we actually enjoy, haha.

So this is the beginning of our new series, Honest Editorial.

In which we honestly discuss things -- could be random issues, or thoughts, or AG reviews, or just stuff. Very deep stuff. ;-)

We know some people fall "out of obsession" with their dolls and their hobbies.

And we occasionally feel burdened by our massive AG collection.
It is huge and takes up our whole house basically.

And when something takes up your whole space -
well it takes on a different meaning than "hobby."
Haha.

We don't even have room to display any of it because there is so much of it!

This year we are going to try and do better about that.
Sell some extra stuff.
And sell stuff we bought to sell off.

We have to move at the beginning of the summer.
Eeeeeeekkkkk!!!!!

We haven't moved for 11 years.
So we have to organize and pack our huge collection...to move it...somewhere...
But we don't even know where yet!
And we haven't organized it or packed it for 11 years!!!

Can you smell the stress???

So our goal is to really get rid of extra doll stuff here BEFORE we move.
A novel idea, right?!?!?!

Hopefully once we actually are able to organize what we own a little bit better, we will be able to enjoy our collection in a healthier manner.

And we will be more inspired to post on the blog and sponsor contests and activities!

*Fingers crossed*

It's difficult when you don't even have the mental energy to enjoy your hobbies. :'-(

May 2015 be a lil bit different than 2014!!!

Moving house can be very stressful particularly when you are moving the accumulated memories of many years. I hope you find somewhere you really love to move to and try and enjoy the whole process

I don't think you are alone in this thinking. I am sure many of us have things that haven't even seen the light of day. I'll admit I do. Ha, ha, that's the trouble with there being so many cute accessories and outfits for our very cute dolls.
Good luck with meeting your goals and share with us how you do it.

We are in the process of packing and moving right now. We get the keys to our first house next week, and not being able to sew for the dolls and look at them right now is killing me. We haven't moved in 12 years, so I know what you are going through. Hopefully, for both of us, it's the last move!

Moving after 11 years...I know almost exactly how you feel. I recently was asked to relocate my workspace in the office. I was in the original spot for 17 years - a lot of sorting going on; and just for an office. I can't even fathom sorting a home. Best wishes and many hugs.

Thanks for all the well wishes and the good lucks!

There is nothing but stress in our life right now, but hopefully this next step will be exciting and fun!

Good luck to everyone else as well-- seems like a lot of us are moving this year! Must be something in the air, haha.
